Only 30 minutes and one pot! I don’t always eat Fettuccine Alfredo but when I do, it’s THIS fettuccine!
I love fettuccine alfredo! It was always my go to order at Italian restaurants growing up and it will always have a special place in my heart. A while ago I started off in search of the perfect fettuccine alfredo recipe and when I tried this one I knew my search was done!
This is one of the easiest recipes I have ever made and I hope you love it as much as I do!
8 oz of uncooked, dry fettuccine
1 cup of heavy cream
2 cups of water
4 tbsp of butter
1/2 tsp of salt
ground pepper to taste
one clove of garlic, minced
1 cups shredded Parmesan cheese
Grilled Chicken or Shrimp (optional)
Combine heavy cream, water, butter, salt, pepper, garlic, and fettuccine in a pan. Bring everything to a boil and stir.
Reduce heat to a low simmer and cover. Let pan simmer, about 20 minutes, or until pasta is tender.
Remove pan from heat and stir in cheese. Add grilled chicken or shrimp on top if desired.
Serve immediately & Enjoy!
