I went and visited a friend who works in College Station recently and while there isn’t much to do there, we ended up having a great time!
We only went for one day and one night so we had to prioritize.
The first thing we did was go to Messina Hof Winery for a wine tasting, they had a really good cheese platter and delicious baked brie! We also had a pizza which had four tiny slices and tasted like a $1 frozen pizza, no one was impressed with that.
The wine tasting set up was impressive though! You get to pick 6 wines and they bring them out to you on this fun wine tree! Wine Christmas Tree!
We ended up spending about $30 each here so it wasn’t a cheap event for us but it was delicious and fun!
After that we decided we needed more wine so we went to Uncorked in Downtown Bryan. This place was very cute inside and I think I liked it even more than the winery (the service was a lot better). Downtown Bryan in general was really cute so that was fun.
I did the Save me, San Francisco tasting and I really enjoyed all three wines on the tasting list. There was one that was by far my favorite but I can remember which one it was (I think it was the Hella Fine).
Next stop was Chimy’s because the one where I went to college is one of my favorite places in the world! Their strawberry margaritas taste like happy!
After that we went to Northgate for a bit since that is a big deal in College Station and then called it a night!
Happy Day Trippin!
